My free domain is also coming up for renewal. Does Dreamhost offer discount vouchers for customers renewing their hosting service, and does this include a free domain renewal too? It would appear that there is some misinformation circulating the


Internet about what returning Dreamhost customers can and can't do.


Some have stated that 'opening a new account, you are not complying


with DreamHost's Terms of Service and may get your account suspended.'

The steps to renew an account and get your discount are as follows;





1) Save all emails and other web content that is currently hosted


by dreamhost as this will be deleted when you close your account.





2) Close your existing account at Dreamhost :





a) Login to your WebPanel and





b) Go to Billing %26gt; Manage Account





c) Click on your hosting plan and select "close this account"

NOTE: You are not closing your whole account, just terminating your
