Web Hosting help needed. Uploading a 13 mb file. Help Please?

I have my website as a sub-domain of geocities.com and i want to upload a file of 13MB. The free geocities service does not allow files larger than 5MB to be uploaded. Is there any way that I can store my 13 mb file online without paying a penny and be able to access it from any computer?

Thanks.

Reply:You mite check your ISP! You may find you have space in your account there you arent even aware of! If you do, upload there and link to it from your geocities site.
Reply:Can you put 10 gallons into a 3 gallon container? NO! Geocities limits you to a 5 MB upload, therefore you can not upload your 13 MB file. There may be a way of reducing the file size of your file if it is a graphic. You can resize it to a 92 dpi or 72 dpi resolution which will greatly reduce its overall size. If the file you are not trying to upload is not a graphic file, then I don't have a clue what to tell you, since you have not described what it is that you are trying to upload.

If you want a good answer to your question, you should be descriptive enough about what it is that you are trying to do. You can't expect a good answer if you don't give us a better understanding of what it is that you are trying to do.
