Free web hosting?

Hey, Im looking for a ste that free and easy to use. I NEED it to be able to use php. Also i need to be able to log ip addreses so id need a site where i can do that (either a service or by my own coding) i definately need these so if you know a free site thats simple (like geocities) please tell me

Reply:If you are serious about websites either for personal or your business, don't go to free web hosting as they are usually not reliable and you may end up losing all your hard work. Free web hosts usually put advertisements on your websites and it could be annoying.





If you like to create websites (usually you will end up more than 1 website, I got more than 100 websites in about 6 months' time), go for multiple web hosting services where you could host all your websites in one account.

Reply:there are hosting companies that offer theses service free and yes 50 megs is one but what they didn't tell you is that they have limited file size limits and also they have very small bandwidth limits usually so small that its used up and your site gets suspended before the month is up. They arn't all bad and offer a lot for nothing but to be really serious your better to pay around $10 a month for a decent plan that can do all you want. you will then be able to track visitors and also choose from heaps of pre-installed programs to do a raft of other useful things. Most hosting plans now also offer multihosting and multi ftp and email accounts. If you want it cheap find a friend and go half each and both use the plan. One other bonus is that some even come with a free domain name if you join for a year.
